Quiet strength,
built around family.
You're already doing the hard part — building, saving, showing up for your family. We make sure the financials run on autopilot, so you can spend your energy on the things you can't get back.
Understand your values,
Design your plan,
Take action.
Most people have experienced their finances in the wrong order. Chances are you have had the experience of being told you need to save and invest your money without a clear idea of what you are saving for.
When you work with us - we take the time to understand who you are and the values that drive you. From there - we help you design a plan that will help you live out those values and then work with you to actually implement the plan.
Strength isn't about being power or money.
It's about conviction.
It's easier to build your finances when you know WHY you are taking those actions.
Three different lives, one quiet worry: something important is slipping through.
Our clients' finances have more moving parts than they have time to track — and the fear is that something is being missed. Our job is to make sure nothing is, and to be the connective tie between you and your accountant, lawyer, and everyone else in your corner. With a special focus on women who see wealth as an enabler of family, purpose, and legacy.
"Aravind has gone above and beyond to understand my health benefits as a new midwife with Type 1 Diabetes and all that entails financially. He presents everything in an evidence-based, easy-to-understand way and has empowered me to make my own decisions. Aravind is truly fantastic."
"Aravind's attention to our life and tax situation has helped us tremendously. By planning around my quota and my high commission years — he has saved us thousands in tax dollars and given us peace of mind that someone is really looking out for us. If you work in a job where your income can swing 6 figures from one year to the next — you need someone like this in your corner."
"After a disappointing experience with a previous firm, trusting our advisor became a top priority. Aravind quickly earned our trust through transparency and excellent communication, always respecting our decisions without pressure."

Money as an enabler — not a scoreboard.
Money here isn't a scoreboard. It's protection, peace of mind, and a legacy for the people behind the wealth. The question we keep asking isn't how much you're building — it's what you're building toward.
Ari, Mila & Asa
AMA is named for my three children — a reminder that everything here begins with family. It also carries a standing invitation: Ask Me Anything. Bring the relocation offer, the stock options, the group plan, the succession question — you never need the right vocabulary for it. Making sense of it is our job, not yours.
The Gorilla Family
A silverback leads with quiet authority — protective, steady, strong without ever needing to prove it.
Gorillas move as a family, and so do we.
Aravind Sithamparapillai
Founder & Financial Planner, AMA Wealth
Through winning the CFP Exam Award, being named an FP Canada Emerging Leader, and volunteering on a number of organizational committees — including the Financial Planning Association of Canada — Aravind came to a realization: real planning isn't just about what needs to happen going forward. It's about knowing whether it has happened, and nudging both planner and client when it hasn't — all while keeping the client's core values front and center. He set out to build that with AMA Wealth.
That drive hasn't just shaped his firm — it's shaped how he thinks. It's pushed him to go deeper, to spot nuance, and to find solutions in the areas other advisors tend to hand-wave away. He asks questions relentlessly, not to fill airtime, but purely to understand the information well enough to actually serve his clients better — a habit that's earned him the nickname "Nerdavind" in some circles. That same curiosity has made him a regular voice on conference stages and industry podcasts, and is a natural complement to his love of networking and meeting new people (He describes himself as "an extrovert's extrovert").
Outside the office, he's just as intense about the important stuff. He's madly in love with his wife, obsessed with being present for his kids and the dozens of activities they're all involved in, and constantly working on the balance between going all-in on financial planning and knowing when to pull himself back out for family. The rest of the time, you'll find him mid-workout, energy drink in hand, talking to absolutely everyone in the room — because if you know Aravind, you know he's never met a stranger.
"Wherever I go, I want to be remembered — not for showing up or doing the minimum, but for being the best, for caring and helping others, and most importantly, for having a positive impact on those who choose to be around me."
Jakub “Kuba” Armstrong
Advisor Assistant
Holding his Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University, Kuba found Aravind just as Aravind was thinking through starting this new journey. True to form, Kuba jumped right in for the chaotic ride of starting a new business and has thrown himself into every nook and cranny possible to be of help.
Going forward Kuba will serve as an advisor assistant overseeing client service, operations, and account support. You will likely hear from him regarding paperwork, statements, scheduling, and any post-meeting action items.
His interest in financial planning stems from growing up with little financial education — a gap that inspired him to master the fundamentals so he could help others navigate their money with confidence. Today, as he pursues his CFP® designation and keeps workflows running smoothly behind the scenes, Kuba's goal is to ensure clients always feel informed and supported.
Beyond the office, Kuba is an avid bookworm, a tennis player, and a volunteer for community financial literacy programs.
Mikayla Sithamparapillai
Marketing & Brand Manager
Mikayla has been instrumental in the growth of the financial planning practice from the start. While you may not have seen her in the official business until now, she is one of the first people Aravind goes to in order to understand "the mind of the client." She is the driving force behind expanding the scope of discussions with clients to include items like health, values, identity, and more recently, women's health & advocacy.
Anything related to client experience, communication & education strategy, and making sure that Aravind tries not to stick his foot in his mouth is her domain. The name and the logo were designed by her — a true testament to how integral to the company she remains.
She also has quite the reputation on social media for humbling Aravind every now and then, so rest assured — she speaks her mind freely and is always keen to advocate on behalf of the clients and tell Aravind when he's in the wrong.
When Mikayla is not helping with AMA, she is often found with their three kids, being a sports mom, cooking, reading and spending time with friends and family.
Let's have an honest conversation.
You talk about your life — what you're building toward, what keeps you up at night. We'll tell you what needs to shift to protect it. The first call is simply to see whether we're the right fit.
Your strength, their future.
